The 81st Legislative Session approved House Bill 3 which impacts graduation requirements by reducing requirements on the Minimum, Recommended and Distinguished Achievement High School Plans in the areas of health, technology applications and physical education. Changes in these requirements vary from plan to plan. State law allows a district to set graduation requirements above the state required level and to continue with the requirements currently in place. Current graduation requirements will remain in place as stated in the Rockwall ISD Academic Planning Guide and Student Handbook.
