The Texas Department of Agriculture conducted reviews of the Rockwall ISD, Child Nutrition Program.  The reviews examined the menus, food preparation and the overall aspects of the program.  The review of the menus, and on-site food preparation, is called a School Meals Initiative (SMI).  The menus are reviewed extensively to ensure we are meeting the meal guidelines set forth by the United States Department of Agiculture (USDA) which sets parameters for claories, fat, carbohydrate, protien, vitamins and minerals, as well as sanitation practices.  The Coordinated Review Effort (CRE) reviews the program guidelines for proper cashiering, meal components, application processing, meal guidelines and all other aspects of the programas dictated by USDA.

Below are the links to view the reports from the reviews which will show that the Child Nutrition Program did a great job.  We are following all guidelines and providing the best for the students of Rockwall ISD.
